NOTICE TO EMPLOYEES
POSTED TO SATISFY A COMPLAINT OF THE PUBLIC EMPLOYMENT RELATIONS BOARD

The International Union, United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America (UAW), Local Union 5810, “the Union,” filed an unfair labor practice charge alleging that the University failed to provide certain requested information during the course of the 2016 contract negotiations, in violation of the Higher Education Employment Relations Act (HEERA), Government Code Section 3560, et seq.
Thereafter, the Public Employment Relations Board issued a complaint against the University in International Union, United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America (UAW) Local 5810 v. Regents of the University of California, Unfair Labor Practice Case No. SF-CE-1026-H, stating the conduct interfered with the rights of bargaining unit employees to be represented by the Union in violation of Government Code section 3571(a).
The University has agreed to post this notice and will comply with HEERA.
